The Daredevil Christopher Wright:
I'm slow. I take pride in it. And that has something to do with why it went like this...
I don't know what got into him, but my little brother Jon started writing songs. Years went by. The songs got better. Jon Could almost grow a beard. He started playing with Jesse who already had grown a beard. Half a year later they needed a bass player for a show. After some fatherly encouragement it occurred to me that maybe I could join the band one day.
I'm also slow at making my way to the doctor so about a year after that first show my nagging back pain turned into a ruptured disc, four months bed rest and surgery.
Then, a long time coming but only two days after my surgery, I hobbled into a cafe where we debuted many of the songs on our forthcoming album - In Deference to a Broken Back.
