Theater encases layers of static
and noise derived from recording with a simple, yet slightly
broken four-track tape recorder in bedrooms, basements, and
auditoriums. Containing only six songs the EP delivers a
strong, solidified effort in the art of lo-fi recording. The
songs were written and recorded by singer-songwriter; guitarist, Kyle Frenette over the course of
nine months in 2006. Despite extended gaps between
recording sessions, Theater remains cohesive and is a good
representation of an artist finally discovering his true sound
and voice.
